About the site

The Pitches

Our campsite overlooks the Pentland Firth and the Orkney Islands making it the perfect location for a scenic camping trip. The site is made up of 34 hardstanding pitches with electrical hookup, 12 hardstanding pitches without electrical hookup, 6 grass pitches with electrical hookup and 4 tent areas. All of our pitches have stunning views and all them overlook the bay.

Camping Equipment/Accessories for Sale

Don't worry if you have forgotten something or are looking for something camping related as we have a selection of items for sale in reception. We have many items for sale such as chemical toilet fluid, levelling blocks, power leads, phone charging cables, power banks as well as many others.

The Facility Block

Our facility block has free hot showers, disabled toilet & shower and dishwashing area. in addition there is a laundry with washing machines and tumble dryers.

There is an elsan point for chemical toilet disposal. A separate grey water drive over disposal point is available for motor homes along with water refill. Throughout the site there are several water points for campers.

Thurso

The town centre is a 5-10 minute walk from the campsite. It is filled with restaurants, cafes, shops, pubs and lots of sites to see. Across the road from the campsite is a Lidls supermarket which is easy to access from the campsite. With all that Thurso has to offer it makes us the perfect hub for you to explore Caithness and the Highlands.

Ferries to the Orkney's
